These five photographs introduce our local Amphipyrine Sallows (Family Noctuidae, Subfamily Amphipyrinae).  Moths shown here represent four genera and five different species found and photographed in northeastern North Dakota.   

Try to identity these moths by matching these images with those found on pages 408-415 of the Peterson Field Guide to Moths of Northeastern North America.
